London Brixton intimate wedding

I should have been meeting Alison and Jake for the first time out at Chateau Cazenac in the South of France in the summer of 2020. However like the rest of 2020, covid had other plans and it was clear that Aussie’s Alison & Jake, both living in London, were not going to be able to be joined by friends and family from around the world in France. So instead they went with the restrictions and had a small intimate wedding at Brixton town hall (Lambeth town hall), followed by distanced drinks in the park and a 15 person reception at the lovely Maremma restaurant in Brixton. I’m sad we weren’t chasing fun and sunsets in France, but their covid wedding had a beauty of it’s own.
There’s something very lovely about these intimate Covid weddings. Ok, there’s not hundreds of friends, family and revellers, but what matters most is still there. Nice work.
