Humanist Wedding at The Maynard

There’s all sorts of highlights I could talk about from Kate and James’ Humanist wedding at The Maynard in the Peak District, however I think my main highlight was gaining two new friends and being witness to probably the most emotional event I’ve experienced at a wedding (for those who haven’t seen that was Kate and James’ First Look). In fact, since that feature Kate was actually recognised in a shop as ‘the girl in the animation’! Mildy random. Thanks also to Love My Dress for featuring their wedding and describing it as possibly her favourite wedding yet (she’s had lots of good ones!). A few facts of goodness from this day…. – Kate made her own dress and she has just started a business in vintage dress making. Anyone interested can contact her via krbeaumont@gmail.com or visit A Vintage Bride – Venue styling and vintage prop hire was prepared by my friend Jennie at Hansley Beard – Flower wonderfulness was delivered by my friend Anna at Swallows and Damsons – Kate’s hair piece was made by my friend Debbie at DC Bouquets – Their Humanist ceremony was delivered by Kate Gee at Hats and Champagne – They walked each other down the isle. Awesome. Oh and there is a baby due any day now at S6 HQ, so this might be my last blog post for a bit! Kate and James. You’re a little too good for my comfort level. The shot of them crossing the bridge is epic. And you know when to put things in black and white. I love it.
